Jordan Anderson Racing has announced long-time sponsor Lucas Oil will return to Jordan Anderson Racing for the 2020 NASCAR Truck Series season.
Lucas Oil has been a loyal sponsor of Anderson’s since 2015 and 2020 will mark their sixth season together.
“It’s exciting to see how the partnership keeps growing every year,” said Anderson. “ We’ve got some awesome things coming for 2020.”
Anderson heads into his third season as both the driver and owner of the No. 3 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series and will have crew chief Wally (Rogers) back a-top his pit box.
“My crew chief (Wally Rogers) will be back with us. It’s cool to have him in place and a lot of our other guys settling in. It’s been good,” stated Anderson to us back in December.
The South Carolina native wrapped up his 2019 campaign having tallied up seven top-15, 12 top-20 and 18 top-25 finishes. He also went on to finish 16th in the driver points standings following the season-finale from Homestead-Miami Speedway in South Florida.
Last month, Anderson told Kickin’ the Tires it’ll be the same deal for 2020 with him doing both the ownership and being behind the wheel of the No. 3.
“We’ll be back full force next season. I’ll be back behind the wheel for a full season next year we got a lot of our same partners that’ll be back. Bommarito, Lucas Oil and all those guys. I’m continually always working on the driver, owner goal relationship and how that works out. It’s just exciting to know that our plans are in place and we’ll be back, hopefully stronger next year.
