Front Row Motorsports GM Jerry Freeze joined SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Thursday 9/2/21 and discussed what the future may hold. Jerry confirmed that the team has been contacted about their teams Charters and indicated their team and Charters are in the rumorville every year in some way. Freeze also confirms the team will race Cup next year but did not specify on how many teams FRM would have. Lastly Jerry Freeze did say the team was also looking into the Xfinty series and all avenues are being looked into.
"We have the inventory for going Xfinity Racing and that is being looked at." FRM is currently in the Truck Series with Todd Gilliland.
Ford? Toyota? The team is open to a manufacture switch as well, (which would align with the 23XI rumors).
Jerry Freeze finishes up his interview by saying the immediate future revolves around them focusing on the 2021 Cup Series playoffs with FRM's #34 Ford of Michael McDowell, the 2021 Daytona 500 Champion. Jerry says the team goal right now is to make it into the second round of the Playoffs.
