Five years since Ryan Ellis has competed in the NASCAR Cup Series. At Kansas Speedway on October 24 Ellis will return to the highest level of stock car racing. Ellis will pilot the No. 15 Chevrolet for Rick Ware Racing. This will be the first time Kansas based Wilson Tire will sponsor a car in NASCAR.

NASCAR sets additional testing for the Next Gen car next season, a series official revealed during Monday’s test at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

For road courses and short tracks, it will be 670 horsepower and a 4-inch spoiler.
For intermediate tracks, the plan is a 550-horsepower package with an 8-inch spoiler.
